Get to know Jeffrey
Jeffrey is a professional speaker who draws on his own life and death battles to communicate, educate, and entertain.
He grew up in Greencastle, Indiana, in a small neighborhood with a big heart. It was here where Jeffrey’s seed of giving was planted. He watched neighbors give up their afternoons to help others in the neighborhood without the expectation of something in return. Because of his neighbors’ unselfish desire to help out those in need, Jeffrey was inspired.
After his battle with brain cancer at age 17, Jeffrey was again inspired by the people who selflessly dedicated their time, knowledge, and experience to Jeffrey’s recovery.
But, as Jeffrey grew up and out of the small Midwestern town, he found that the compassion that was so abundant in his old neighborhood was absent in many communities, businesses and organizations. This lack of altruism influenced him to make personal and professional choices that would allow him to make a difference in the world around him. As a young adult, Jeffrey began coaching high school athletics, became a Director for a non-profit after-school program, and eventually a Corporate Executive. In 2006, Jeffrey created Actions of Influence, a program geared toward inspiring others to change the world around them through positive action. Positive Impact Project, a similar program geared toward young adults, was launched in 2008.
Besides being a professional speaker, Jeffrey is also an ordained interfaith minister, advisor for the nationally recognized Law Enforcement Safety Foundation and is Past-President of the National Speakers Association’s Tennessee Chapter. Jeffrey was awarded Executive of the Year by the Association of Boys and Girls Clubs Professionals in 2001. Additionally, he created the Cancer Survivor Coin™, a symbol of pride and achievement for fellow cancer survivors.
Today, Jeffrey lives in Knoxville, Tennessee with his lovely wife, Lucie, and their amazing daughter Aneshka.
